The United & the Divided is the final book in this trilogy. It's the conclusion of Levi, Darius and Ian's story after their lives keep snowballing out of control. Fortunately the men are still supportive and there for each other, stepping up even if it means death. But Ian is tired of it all and seeks a solution.While everything was tied up, I still wondered how Levi, Darius and Ian would cope, being in one place for eternity. Yes, wolves were moving out but would this become where less desirable wolves would be sent? By the Elders? Because those of the faith don't want to stick around. We've seen what happens when hatred overcomes an Elder's directive. So I wonder just how safe Levi, Darius and Ian are in the long run. They still have a ways to go. And their lives are forever altered. I can't imagine being stuck on a small island in the blistering cold for eternity. Whether they influence those on the island and change happens or if the Elders change their mandate. . . There should be another story to watch whether Levi, Darius and Ian are content. .. I want you to know that I have read all three books in this series and I loved all three of them as if I was reading them all for the first time! Ok, so what if I stalked L.A. about all three BOOKS and if she could write faster because I wanted to be the first to read them. So what if I'm a L.A. Witt book junkie, don't hold it against me. I fell in love with Darius, Levi and Ian and I went with them on this journey because the let me into their lives as they fell in love with each other. This book kept me on the edge just like the other 2 did, there was no let down, except I wanted her to write more. If you're looking for a series that will keep you guessing what's going to happen next and if you want to see how these three men came together despite was society thinks and if you want to how love conquered all, this is the series for you! Read all three books and you'll be glad you did.
I am not a great horror fan and someone who is, or who is gay, would probably give this book more stars.
This paranormal mixes up wolves and vampires and a bit of both, in the Arctic Circle. The characters are Levi, Ian and Darius who have already appeared in the 'Tooth And Claw' series and by now are a unit. All three are vampires but both Levi and Darius are also werewolves. If the vampires bite someone to feed, the person will turn into a werewolf. The only hope is to find a wolf shifter who will allow them to snack. I started wondering if the wolf would turn into a vampire. But I'm all in favour of giving characters challenges and I wanted to see how long it would take before Ian was also a wolf.
Taking up straight after a previous adventure, the guys are hiding in a boat recovering from wounds and avoiding sunlight. The local villagers on Sitka Island are all wolves and not pleased to have vampire guests. However an elderly lady intercedes for the trio and this gives them a chance to explain their position. The narrator changes between chapters which I found can be confusing. Darius tells us he has been a vampire for half a century but lately he's made a string of enemies, all wolves. They come to an understanding with the wolf pack, but how long will it last?
THE UNITED AND THE DIVIDED includes drinking blood and an ongoing gay relationship between the three vampire men. For adult readers, with strong language, action, violence and the odd Molotov cocktail just when you thought you could relax. L.A. Witt lives in Omaha and also writes romances as Lauren Gallagher.

After the events of The Given & The Taken and The Healing & The Dying, Levi, Ian and Darius hope they’ve finally found sanctuary with a wolf clan far enough away that the Clan Elders will stop looking for them and allow them to live and love in peace. Yeah, no such luck! In spite of the support they have from the community’s Elders, they aren’t long there when the cabin they are staying in is set on fire with a bombardment of Molotov cocktails. During the day.
The United & the Divided was fast paced and action packed as Levi, Ian an Darius reel from one life threatening situation to the next, relentlessly pursued. The author did a good job of incorporating recaps of major points in previous books into the story without it feeling tedious. I loved the three MCs and the sex scenes were oh-my-god hot! However, while the sex scenes really were smokin’, it would have been nice to have had more of the guys just interacting with each – the love and affection without the sex every time – because the few times there were, I really loved.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were wonderful and the action had me turning the page needing to know what would happen next! The last scene was definitely my favourite. It showed the love and support the three of them have with each other and was a lovely conclusion to Levi, Ian and Darius’s story.

Radius, Levi and Ian are back and on the run! The chemistry is still there and they definitely find time to get it on. A lot.
L.A Witt do I need to say more ? Loved it! I moved it right to the reread list
I have so loved this trilogy and don't want to say goodbye to these characters. The mix of danger, humor, love and sex as told by L.A. Witt, is always a winning combination.
I found the audiobook and could not stop listening. I love L A Witt books but this was the best yet. Looking forward to more of her books
