If you like science fiction with aliens, a bit of romance and a kickass heroine this is a must read. I must have been really into the story because I don't recall any editing issues that bothered me enough to diminish my pleasure. This is a book I have reread several times. It has been added to my favorites list. I am anxiously awaiting book 2 "Riley's Run".Product details

I loved this story of of an alien girl child landing on earth, experimented on, escaping, yet growing into a caring and loving person. She is found and returns to her home in time to save her planet and along the way her love
I loved this book. I was very sad to learn that Ms. Hanlin passed away and I won't have the opportunity to read anymore books written by her. You won't regret buying this book.
I was a little iffy on whether I wanted to buy this book or not, but I decided to give it a shot.
In the end, I liked it, but I really think it could use another round of editing.
There are some inconsistencies in the story, and the author/editors should really pay attention as to whether they want to use the words quiet, or quite. They are not, in fact, interchangeable.
While at times the story seemed stilted, and juvenile, in the end it was a decent telling.
I give 3 stars, but if it was edited, and groomed once or twice more before print, I think it could have been an amazing book.
Really love this book, not bad for her very first. The only thing I was disappointed was the ending. It could of been alot better if the book carried on to see how her first meeting with her parents went and to see how things went for her with the people of her planet and her lover's people. But all in all, it was a really good book, and totally recommend it for you sci fi fans out there. Cannot wait for Riley & Cole's book.
Chrystal Bones was a good surprise. I love sci-fi romance books but not ones that you get immersed completely in another world. For me it's about the characters and not too much about a the world building. Both the H and h are fun to read about and I really liked the story and the romance. I hope the author continues to write, I only ask she fleshes things out a bit more in some areas and that she writes an Epilogue that would be great.
Really enjoyed book and was very disappointed that there was no sequel as promised. Please continue the series! Would buy every book.
The story went where I wanted it to - all over the place. The cast of characters were a melting pot of different personalities. The MC was in charge and had so many different powers that made a good sci-fi thrill. The plot was always changing. The setting was always changing. The people were always changing. It this book is cleaned and re-edited it would have been a sure five-star for me, and a best seller on . There is no doubt about the potential for this story in winning an award.
